Ziziphora tenuior L., a new source of pulegone
Abstract
The volatile constituents of Ziziphora tenuior L. (Lamiaceae), from two different regions of Turkey, were studied for the first time. Twenty-six compounds, out of the 33 detected were identified by means of capillary GC and GC—MS. The identified components represent about 99.4% and 98.8% of the samples. The major constituent found was pulegone (87.1 % and 86.3 % of the samples). Copyright © 1991 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd
