Abstract
Water-distilled essential oil from dried aerial parts of Micromeria dolichodontha P. H. Davis, an endemic species of Turkey, was analysed by GC-MS; 58 components were characterized, representing 98.9% of the total oil. Isomenthone (23.5%) and pulegone (14.9%) were the major constituents of the oil obtained in a yield of 1.3%.
