Chemical composition of Santolina chamaecyparissus L. essential oil

Abstract

The hydrodistilled essential oil of Santolina chamaecyparissus L. (Asteraceae) was analyzed by GC/MS. The main components were found as artemisia ketone (38.1%), camphor (11.7%) and beta-phellandrene (9.2%).
