Thirdspace kavramı çerçevesinde LGBTİ hareketine kısa bir bakış

Abstract

Bu çalışma, LGBTİ hareketi temelinde yeni toplumsal hareketlerin gerçekleştiği alanların anlamının genişletilmesi amacıyla yazılmıştır. Yeni toplumsal hareketler, farklı alanlara yayılması nedeniyle yeni kavramsallaştırmalara ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Sadece fiziki mekanla sınırlı kalmayan bu hareketler için somut ve soyut alanların da varlığından bahsetmek gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle anıtlar, bedenler ve semboller yeni alanlar olarak incelenecektir. Bu makalenin temel amacı Thirdspace kavramının araçsal hale getirilerek LGBTİ hareketi temelinde yeni toplumsal hareketlerin açıklanmasını sağlamaktır. Yapılan gözlemler ve derinlemesine mülakatlar neticesinde araştırma sırasında ele alınan üçüncü alan ve hadise toplumu kavramsallaştırmaları yolu ile sadece LGBTİ hareketinin değil yeni toplumsal hareketlerin tümünün açıklanabileceği görülmüştür.

This study aims to expand the meaning of spaces which were become the main tool of new social movements on the axis of LGBTI movement. Since the new meanings of spaces were expanded to different areas, these social movements need new conceptualizations. It should be here mentioned that these movements should not only be limited to physical spaces but also they should include tangible and intangible spaces. Therefore, monuments, bodies and symbols will be analyzed as new spaces. The main aim of this article is to explain how Thirdspace conceptualization can be used as an instrument for understanding LGBTI movement and new social movements. It is understood in consequence of committed surveys and deeply interviews that society of spectacle and thirdspace conceptualizations can explain not only LGBTI movement but also new social movements.
