Karadeniz bölgesinde bulunan illerin eğitim etkinliklerinin ortaöğretim düzeyinde incelenmesi: Malmquıst-tfv endeksi uygulaması

Abstract

Hızla gelişen rekabet ortamı içerisinde toplumların gelişimi, eğitimde etkinlik ve verimliliği arttırmalarıyla mümkündür. Bu kapsamda özellikle ortaöğretim, bir ülkenin kalkınmasında önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde bulunan 18 ilin 2007-2011 dönemindeki ortaöğretim düzeyinde eğitim performanslarında meydana gelen değişim Malmquist-TFV endeksi yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, bu dönemde 18 ilin eğitim performansında yıllık ortalama %4,4’lük bir artış olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca bu artışın büyük oranda teknolojik gelişimden kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir.

In the rapidly evolving competitive environment, the development of the societies is possible to increase the efficiency and productivity in education. In this context, especially secondary education plays an important role in the development of a country. In this study, changes in secondary educational performance of 18 cities in the Blacksea Region were determined by Malmquist-Total Factor Productivity (TFP) Index method for 2007-2011. The results of the analysis showed that there is an increase on average 4,4% in educational performance of 18 cities in this period. Furthermore, it was identified that this increase was largely due to technological development.
