Directors try to demonstrate their stories from a specific perspective. They use different methods for communicating with audiences. Some of the directors pay special attention to camera, some of them pay special attention to color and light, and some of them pay special attention to editing to be understandable. This research intends to examine the relationship between the film and its audience. Eisenstein’s methods in film structuring, and his editing style are analyzed. At the same time, his film ‘The Battleship Potemkin’ is analyzed in terms of conflict theory.en_US
