| dc.description.abstract | The water-distilled essential oils from crushed dry fruits of Prangos heyniae, a recently described endemic in Turkey, collected from two localities, were analysed by GC-MS. Sixty-one and 79 components representing 92.2% and 89.8% of the oils were characterized with beta -bisabolenal (53.3% and 18.0%), beta -bisabolenol (14.6% and 2.3%) and beta -bisabolene (12.1% and 10.1%) as main constituents.
