dc.description.abstractIn this work, the power consumption for a scraped-surface heat exchanger with a "no-leak" reactor was investigated to scale up a pilot plant reactor for industrial use. The experimental results Obtained at various speeds of rotation and fluid viscosities were analyzed by nonlinear regression computation using the Nelder algorithm. Using the results of this analysis, the power consumption expression given for a "with-leak" reactor in a previous work was modified to give that of the reactor with "no leak".
