dc.description.abstractAnalysis and control algorithms are introduced for discrete-event systems which are modeled by Petri nets. A simulation and control design program is then developed to implement these algorithms. The program can simulate a Petri net, can find its reachability set, can determine the set of deadlock states, and can design a supervisory controller to avoid deadlock.en_US
