Ekonomide Sanayisizleşme ve Oecd Ülkelerine Etkileri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, OECD ülkelerindeki sanayisizleşme sürecinde ekonomideki yapısal değişmelerin etkileri panel veri modelleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bir ülkenin sanayi sektörünün istihdamdaki payında meydana gelen azalmanın artan sanayisizleşmeye işaret ettiği bilinmektedir. Analiz bulguları, ekonomideki sanayisizleşme sürecinin işgücü piyasaları üzerinde önemli etkilerinin söz konusu olduğunu göstermiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bir diğer bulgu, sanayi sektörü istihdamı ile kişi başına düşen hâsıla, sabit sermaye ve doğrudan yabancı yatırım girişi arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişkinin varlığıdır.

In this paper, the effects of structural changes on deindustrialization process in the economies of OECD countries were examined by using panel data models. The decrease in the share of employment of industrial sector indicates increasing deindustrialization in a country. The findings of the analyses showed that the effects of deindustrialization process in the economy have significant effects on the labor markets. Another finding of the study is that there's a positive relationship between industrial sector employment and per capita income, fixed capital and foreign direct investment inflows.
