Abstract

Okuldan çalışma hayatına geçiş, 1970'li yılların başında genç işsizliği oranlarında yaşanan artıştan bu yana kamu politikasının ilgi alanına giren bir konu olmuştur. Bu süreç gençlerin çalışma hayatıyla tanıştıkları bir dönemi ifade eder. Okuldan işgücü piyasasına sorunsuz bir geçişin sağlanması bütün modern toplumların politik bir önceliği olagelmiş ve bu geçişi sağlamaya yönelik bir çok düzenleme yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, orta öğrenim sonrası çalışma hayatına geçiş incelenmiş olup, bu süreçte kurumsal başarı sağlamış olan Almanya ve Japonya örnekleri üzerinde durulmuştur.

Transition from School to Work: Sample Practices: The transition from school to work has been an ongoing concern for public policy, ever since the rise of youth unemployment rates in the early 1970 's. This process is a phase of life in which young people are introduced to the world of labour. Ensuring the smooth transition from school to labour market has long been a policy priority for all modern societies and many reforms have been enacted to facilitate this transition. In this study, we investigate post secondary school to work transition and focus on two leading examples of institutional success in this process: Germany and Japan.
