20. Yüzyıl Heykelinde Hazır Nesne, "Ready Made"
Özet
XX. Century was a period that too many innovative movements occured in social life and also the object reality-a result ' of industrialization-examined. Consumption society as an unavoidable result of the period, triggered the fast consumption, mechanization and fabric production. Developing society in mechanization became a part of this chaos. This chaos unsettled the common cultural and aesthetic values of persons. The fact of object gave a start to a new discussion about object of art and consumption material. This brought about the trend "ready made". The art of sculpture was an actinal image until XX Century. With this trend, sculpture became something itself. The new meaning of sculpture art depends on the change of the meaning, place, mission, function and structure of the fetish subjects which were the results of the production and consumption chaos. Ready made, the trend began with Marcel Duchamp in the early 1900's, unsettled the traditional understanding of art. Important artists of the period; Pablo Picasso, Man Ray, Salvador Dali and Joseph Beuys also made ready made works by using daily use subjects. XX.
