Structural and dielectric properties of (1-x) Li2TiO3 + xmgo ceramics prepared by the solid state reaction method
Özet
In this study, (1- x) Li2TiO3 + xMgO (x= 0, 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5) ceramic samples were prepared by the solid-state reaction method and characterized using X-ray diffraction spectra and Raman Spectroscopy. The samples sintered in air at 10000C have shown a good crystallinity situation from their XRD peaks and have a cubic pyrochlore structure. As observed from SEM images, all samples exhibit a porous microstructure and the porosities of the 0.5Li2TiO3 – 0.5MgO sample (0.5MLTO) are smaller than those of the Li2TiO3 (LTO). According to the assignment of the Raman spectrum of Li2TiO3, peaks in the region of 700–500 cm-1 should be assigned to Ti–O stretching vibrations in TiO6 octahedra and peaks in the region of 500–400 cm-1 to Li–O stretching vibrations and O–Li–O bending vibrations. The dielectric constants of the (1- x) Li2TiO3 + xMgO (x= 0, 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5) ceramics were studied using an impedance analyzer. The results show that the dielectric constants in the samples decrease from 23.2 to 10.6 with increasing Mg content from x= 0 to 0.5
