dc.description.abstractThe properties of the Gamow-Teller (GT) 1(+) states in Bi-208 have been investigated by using the Pyatov-Salamov method. The GT resonance (GTR) energy, the contribution of the GTR beta transition strength to the Ikeda sum rule, and the differential cross sections for the Pb-208(p, n)Bi-208 and Pb-208(He-3, t)Bi-208 charge exchange reactions at different energies have been calculated. Our results show good agreement with experimental values.en_US
