Açık Öğretim Ortaokulu Türkçe Ders Kitaplarındaki Metinlerde Yer Alan Değerler

Abstract

,Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; açık öğretim ortaokulu Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan değerleri ve bu değerlerin sınıf düzeylerine göre dağılımını incelemek ve değerlendirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmada iki soruya yanıt aranmıştır. Bunlar: Açık Öğretim Ortaokulu 5,6,7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerdeki değerler nelerdir?, Açık Öğretim Ortaokulu 5,6,7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan değerlerin sınıf düzeylerine göre dağılımı nedir? Araştırma tarama modeline göre desenlenmiştir. Doküman incelemesi yönteminden yararlanılmış, değerler açısından metinler tek tek incelenerek veriler elde edilmiş, frekanslar hâlinde tablolaştırılmış, betimsel analiz yapılarak yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda açık öğretim ortaokulu Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerde yer alan değerlere bakıldığında; barış, kurallara uyma, hoşgörü, işbölümü değerlerine 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında yer verildiği, 6., 7., ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında ise yer verilmediği görülmüştür. Paylaşma değeri ise sadece 6. sınıf ders kitabında yer almış, diğer ders kitaplarında bu değerlere rastlanamamıştır. Fedakârlık değeri sadece 8. sınıf ders kitabında yer almıştır. 5. sınıfta dostluk, özgürlük değerlerine rastlanamamıştır. 6. sınıfta; güven, minnettarlık, dostluk, sanat, saygı, söz dinleme, özgürlük değerlerine, 7. sınıfta; empati kurma, saygı, milliyetçilik, sadakat değerlerine, 8. sınıfta; sorumluluk, özeleştiri, minnettarlık, empati kurma, aile, sadakat, eşitlik değerlerine yer verilmemiştir. Temizlik ise, bütün düzeylerdeki Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer almayan değer olarak dikkat çekmektedir.

The main objective of this study is to grade and evaluate the values in Turkish textbooks at Open Education Secondary School and the distribution of these values. For this purpose we tried to answer two questions. These are 'What are the values in the 5, 6, 7 and 8th grade Turkish textbooks at Open Education Secondary School' and also 'What is the distribution of values according to the grade level?'. The values determined in texts were formed as quantitative data and used descriptive analysis. At the results of the study peace, Turkish textbooks 5th grade contained obey the rules, tolerance, and work sharing values, however these values weren't seen in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Turkish textbooks. Sharing value has taken place in just 6th grade textbooks, it could not find in other books. The value of sacrifice took place in only 8th grade textbook. Friendship and freedom values weren't seen in 5th grade textbook. Trust, gratitude, friendship, art, respect, obedience values weren't found in 6thgrade. Empathy, respect and nationalism weren't included in 7th grade. Responsibility, self-criticism, appreciation, empathy, family, loyalty, equity values were not included in 8th grade. Cleaning value wasn't included in Turkish textbooks at all levels.
